Loadshedding

Loadshedding is an occasional challenge in South Africa, where electricity is switched off for short periods. Don't worry, the house is equipped with a back up inverter for essentials like lights and WiFi, and a solar geyser for hot water.

During Loadshedding

Lights and WiFi still work, but please avoid high energy appliances during outage times, such as kettles, microwaves, air fryers, hair dryers and similar appliances.
